Our first Giving Tuesday at MSOE is in the books!

With your help, we were able to raise $3,250 and unlocked an additional $3,000 in support from the Dick ’70 and Fran Powers challenge. Your generosity helped us raise a total of $6,250 to support veterans and active military on campus!

Your support is a powerful reminder to every one of our students that they are not alone, but part of our MSOE community—a large network of alumni, friends, faculty and staff who are unwavering in their pledge to provide them with an exceptional education and experience.

Happy Giving Tuesday! Today is the final day of our campaign and we as so excited to see many alumni and friends virtually come together to support our students this year, during our first Giving Tuesday Campaign.

We are currently at $1076 for Veteran Support Services with a total of $4161 across all of our Giving Tuesday funds.

Don’t forget to complete your gift before midnight, if you haven't already, and share this project on social media to help us complete our matching challenge of $3000 for Veteran Support Services and continue to back these brave individuals who have given and risked so much for our country.

As Thanksgiving approaches, one thing we are thankful for at MSOE is our student veterans. We are grateful for the service they’ve provided to our country and proud of the work they continue to do here on campus.

Alumni Board Member and founding member of the Student Veterans Association, Matt Hughes ’18, is one of many vets who utilized our student veterans services and credits his current success to the support of this on-campus community.

Help us reach our goal of $3000 by December 1st and secure an additional $3000 match from MSOE Alumnus and Veteran, Dick Powers, and his wife Fran. Your gift will help us continue to expand our programming for all current military and veterans at MSOE.

As the holiday season approaches, we are proud to announce MSOE’s first year of participating in Giving Tuesday!

Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 as a day to inspire people to pay it forward. It has grown exponentially as a day to celebrate generosity--a day to come together to support causes that you care about and make a difference in the lives of others.

This year, join us in celebrating the season of giving by making a gift to our Giving Tuesday Campaign supporting three special causes on our campus: Student Veterans Services, Campus Diversity & Inclusion, and Health & Counseling Services.

Our Giving Tuesday Campaign will be running November 23rd- December 1st. We have been challenged by veteran and alumnus Dick Powers ‘70. If we can raise $3000 for Veteran Support Services, Dick and his wife Fran will donate an additional $3000 to support this area! Help us secure this wonderful gift for our Student Veterans this holiday season.
