THANK YOU! The Raider community came together and raised over $6,500 to support our wrestling students. If you are still interested in donating to support other MSOE students in need please visit give.msoe.edu/donate.
On Jan. 7th the bus carrying the MSOE men’s wrestling team caught fire while transporting them home to Milwaukee from a meet in northern Minnesota. Thankfully everyone on board acted quickly and all our students and coaches evacuated the bus safely and without injury. Unfortunately, the fire spread quickly and most of the student’s personal belongings were lost, including wallets, cell phones, clothing – even shoes and coats.
MSOE has replaced university issued items such as textbooks, school-issued laptops and school ID badges. Many students will need support to replace other personal items, including phones, personal electronic devices, clothes and other belongings.
If you want to help - we invite you to make a gift to the Student Persistence Fund to support our wrestling students. The Student Persistence Fund was developed as a tool for MSOE to provide support to students in unforeseen situations just like this week’s fire. A gift of any size makes a difference. Please consider making a gift today to help our students.
If you would like to give by check, please make it payable to Milwaukee School of Engineering with the Student Persistence Fund in the memo and mail to:
