ABOUT GLOBAL BRIGADES
Global Brigades is an international nonprofit organization that uses a holistic model to empower communities to sustainably reduce health and economic disparities. MSOE's chapter offers service trips to various countries in Central America and works with the Global Brigades community and staff to bring both medical aide and home infrastructure to families and individuals in need.
MEDICAL AND PUBLIC HEALTH BRIGADE TO HONDURAS 2023
This spring, we have the amazing opportunity to return to Honduras for our brigades during the week of Feb 25 - March 3! We will provide various medical cares such as dental treatments, pharmaceuticals, vision, consultations with doctors, and education. For the first time in several years the medical brigade will be joined by a public health brigade! This brigade will be providing public health planning with local health committees to provide resources for specific areas of need. We have a wonderful group of seventeen volunteers for our medical brigade and nine volunteers for our public health brigade!
WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT!!
This trip does not receive financial assistance from the university and is 100% funded by the volunteers attending and fundraising events that we have going on throughout the year. We would greatly appreciate your support! We are hoping to raise $5,000 to disperse amongst our volunteers, in hopes of offsetting everyone's overall costs. Attending these brigades provides such amazing opportunities and we would really like to provide everyone with a bit of aid to make this trip more attainable.
